Juanita “Polly” Stockton Grissom, 50, of Delano, peacefully departed this life on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022, at her residence.
She was born on March 12, 1971, in New Castle, Ind., to the late Paul Stockton and Wanda Weaver Walden.
Throughout life, she was a faithful Christian and developed a deep love for camping and shopping. She dedicated her life to her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Paul Stockton and Wanda Walden, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Carl Walden and Anthony Stockton; stepfather, Jimmy Walden; and Grandma Weaver.
Left to cherish the many memories include her beloved children: Tiffany Tarver, Bobbie Perkins, Dillon Goforth, and Savannah Goforth; the love of her life, Andy “Tojo” Goforth; cherished grandchildren: Jax Forshee, Waylon Forshee, Tequila Rose Perkins, and Wesley Edwards; siblings: Thomas Walden, Shane (Brenda) Stockton, and Crystal (Scott) Foley; numerous extended family members; and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at noon on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home of Benton.
Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service on Thursday, at the funeral home.
