Kyler Blake Scott Hood, 26, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022.

He was born on Oct. 14, 1996, and was of the Christian faith.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jerry Hood; grandmother, Phillis Wilson; uncles, Tom Hood and Kamren Scott; and brother-in-law, David Couch.

He is survived by his parents, Tina “Momma Tina” and Charlie “Big C” Mendros; siblings, Whitney Couch, Tori Harden, Justin McKenzie, Charlie Mendros and Jennifer Hood; nieces, Lakelynn and Salem Couch, Julia Baker and River Harden; nephews, Barrett and Canyon Couch and Kaden Wampler; special aunts, Ariel (Johnathan) Callahan, Debbie Shirley and Abbie (Mike) Patterson; special cousins, Scott Henson and Mindee Duncan; and a host of loving family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 5, 2022, in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home.

Burial will be held at Dill Cemetery, Old Fort. Pallbearers will be Charlie Mendros, Charlie Mendros Jr., Justin McKenzie, Johnathan Callahan, Kevin Stephens and Jose Rodriguez.

The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
