Marianne R. Christison

Marianne R. Christison, 80, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022, at a local living facility.

She was born in Virginia but lived in Cleveland most of her life. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church, where she was a choir member since 1998. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Gibson Reveley and Mary Forrest Reveley; husband, Alexander “Sandy” L. Christison; and brother, Jack Reveley.

She is survived by her two children, Jon Christison (Hollie) of Cleveland and Mary Birjkovff (Bill) of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia; four grandchildren, Steven Christison, Gary Curry-Christison of Cleveland, Robert Christison of East Ridge and Fran Wood; three great-grandchildren, Audri Austin, Greenleigh Christison and Aubrey Harris; brother, Bill Reveley; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Her Life will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2023, in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Father Mike Nolan officiating.

The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service.

A Church Mass will follow at a later date.
