Nell Rose Jennette Wehrle, 81, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Friday, Aug. 12, 2022, in a local healthcare facility.
Nell was born in Norfolk, Virginia; and she was the daughter of the late Alma Rose Elliott McNelley and Robert McNeeley.
She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Jimmy Glen Jennette Sr.; her second husband, James Wehrle; her sons, Jimmy and Danny Jennette; and her brother, Patrick McNelley.
Nell served as a secretary for different businesses, and she retired from Hardwick Clothes as a sales representative with 25 years of service. She enjoyed shopping, seafood and vacationing in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Nell was a 50-year member of the Restoration Fellowship, where she served on the church board and the hospitality committee.
Survivors include her son, Bob Jennette (Tammy) of Cleveland; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Alma Jean Looper (Pastor John Looper) of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
The Remembrance of Life service will be conducted at 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 15, 2022, at the Restoration Fellowship Church, with Pastor John A. Looper officiating.
Entombment services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens, with family and friends serving as casket bearers.
The family request in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Restoration Fellowship Church in Nell's name, 211 Trewhitt Drive SE, Cleveland, TN 37323.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. on Monday at the Restoration Fellowship Church.
