Patricia Ann (Greathouse) Wells

Patricia Ann (Greathouse) Wells, on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, went home to be with the Lord.

Patricia was born on Aug. 26, 1958, and was 63 years old. She was a graduate of Cleveland High School, Class of 1977. She was employed and worked at Schering-Plough for 29 years.

Patricia was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the Combined Choir. Patricia loved her gospel music as much as she loved to sing and praise the Lord.

Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Lonnie Greathouse; mother, Mildred Kennedy, sister, Drucilla E. Thomas; and one brother, William L. Kennedy.

She leaves to cherish her memories with her husband, Willie R. Wells, her son, Cameron Andre Wesley Sr.; her grandchildren, Jaylen, CJ, Nikolas, Alyana and Andrenee Wesley; one great-granddaughter, Brylin Wesley; sister, Nina Hall; her stepchildren, Willie R. Wells Jr., Sybil P. Wells, Aquarius B. Wells, Wennen K. Wells and Cheryl A. (Benjamin) Wells; a special devoted cousin, Dianne Johnson, who has been like a sister growing up since childhood; several nieces and nephews, Patrick, Brian, Carmen and Kara; a host of friends and relatives; and a special friend, Teresa Thompson.

Funeral services will be Sunday, July 24, 2022, at 4 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Cleveland, with pastor the Rev. Edward S. Robinson Sr. delivering the eulogy.

Interment will follow the service at Fort Hill Cemetery in Cleveland.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Masks are required at all times and social distancing will be monitored.

M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home of Athens is in charge of arrangements.
