Phyllis Ann Sutphin, 78, of Eaton, Ohio, and formerly Cleveland, and Monroe, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023, at her daughter’s home with her family by her side.
She was born on May 5, 1944, in Middlesboro, Kentucky. Phyllis dearly loved her family and served the Lord at numerous communities she and her husband resided including at Stewart Road Church of God in Monroe, Michigan, and later retiring in Cleveland.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Georgia and T.J. Lambert.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Daniel Sutphin of Eaton; daughters, Leah (David) Engle of Eaton and Susan (Scott) Swain of Winterville, Georgia; grandchildren, Brittany (Brian), Morgan, Phillip (Sarah), Blake, James (Brooke), Kris, Heaven (Shayne), Lacey, Londyn and Landyn; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Larry (Sandy) Lambert and the Rev. Jeff (Tammy) Lambert; sisters, Judy (Rev. Earl) Stinson, Linda (Bob) Haynes and Brenda (Carl) Vloch; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received from 3 p.m. until the Celebration of Life service at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023, at Miamisburg Assembly of God, 501 N. 9th St., Miamisburg, OH 45342 with the Revs. Steve Conrad and Jeff Lambert officiating.
