Ray C. Wynn, 94, of Cleveland went to be with the Lord, Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022.
He was the son of the late Patered and Mable Wynn. He was a retired minister with The Church of God of Prophecy, with pastorates in Florida and Michigan. He was a member of the Peerless Road Church of God of Prophecy in Cleveland.
In the 1968 Church of God of Prophecy General Assembly, he was appointed to serve in the Bible Training Institute Ministry and served in that ministry until his retirement in 1992.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Peggy Jean Quarles Wynn.
He is survived by two sons: John Raymond Wynn (Beverly) of Georgetown Kentucky, and James Randall Wynn (Katherine) of Chattanooga; grandsons: John Wynn (Jessica) of Bloomfield, Mich., Dusty Wynn of Middlesboro, Ky., Sean Wynn of Georgetown, Ky., and Micah Wynn of Chattanooga; granddaughter, Mecalah Rollins (Jason) of Roswell, Ga.; great-granddaughter, Ella Rollins of Roswell; great-grandson, John Riley Wynn of Detroit; great-granddaughter, Sophia Wynn of Georgetown, Ky.; brother, Pat Wynn of Jerome, Mich.; sisters: Ruth C. King of Hollow Rock, and Retha Adkins (John) of Cleveland; along with several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, at Peerless Road Church of God of Prophecy with Pastor Adam Jones along with family and friends will officiate.
The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., at the church.
