Rebecca ‘Becky’ Hannah Snyder

Rebecca ”Becky” Hannah Snyder, passed away on Monday, Feb. 6, 2023, surrounded by the love of her family.

She was born in Cleveland and graduated from BCHS in 1964. She was a graduate of the University of Miami, achieving a bachelor’s degree. A resident of Plantation, Florida, since 1971, she worked for many years as an allergy nurse. She was an active member and worshipped at Plantation Presbyterian Church. She was active with the South Florida Shriners and was a Shrinerette, supporting their charitable causes.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Jimmy; her children, Blythe Crosby and her fiancé, Christopher Johnson; son, Robert Burkhardt and daughter-in-law, Shan; her brother, George Scott Hannah “Scotty” and sister-in-law, Debby; grandchildren, Brayden Burkhardt, Halle Wilson and her husband, Ethan, Reece Burkhardt, Wyatt Crosby and Heath Crosby; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please remember Becky with a memorial contribution to Plantation Presbyterian Church or the South Florida Shriners via lovetotherescue.org.

You are invited to visit with the family from 3 to 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 10, 2023, at Plantation Presbyterian Church, 901 NW 70 Ave., Plantation, FL 33317.
