Robert D. “Robbie” Jenkins, 68, of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at a Chattanooga hospital.

Robbie was a wonderful husband and father who was lovingly called “Poppa.” He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and music. He loved President Donald Trump.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dexter and Clara Mae Jenkins.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Jenkins of Cleveland; children: Dustin Jenkins of Sevierville, Gary Jones (Melinda) of Bridgeport, Ala., and Angie Tromble and Heather Hyde, both of Cleveland, and daughter-in-love, Carolyn Jenkins; grandchildren: Zelphie, Derrick, Kelsey, Morgan, Ryan, Casey, Brittany, Jonathon, Dakota, Haley and Tabitha; brothers: Donnie Jenkins, Dale Henry and Terry Richmond, who is like a brother; and special niece, Carina Davis.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today, May 14, 2021, at Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dustin Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens, with Derrick Fuller, David Leader, Eddie Farmer, Michael White, Ryan Jones and Jonathon Wallace serving as pallbearers. Casey Jones will serve as honorary pallbearer.

His family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. today at the funeral home prior to the service.
