Robert Ford Lisenba



Robert Ford Lisenba, 81, beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and believer in his Lord Jesus Christ passed on to his heavenly home (Beulah Land) on Monday, May 24, 2021.
He was born Oct. 20, 1939, in Gadsden, Ala., to the late Ford F. Lisenba and Kathryn E. Hinton. He was preceded in death by his brothers: William M. Lisenba and Benjamin G. Lisenba.
He was the owner of Professional Tub & Tile. He was a member of Woodland Park Baptist Church since 1984, charter member bass singer in Bondservants Quartet, Gideons, Eagle Scout, golfing, and loyal Bama fan. His favorite sayings were: “Roll Tide!”  and “Sinner saved by grace.” 
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Linda Gayle Cavitt Lisenba; children: Kathryn Walker, Roria Hicks (Steve), Linda Lawhon (Steve), Ronald West (Tina), Robert Lisenba Jr., and Scott Lisenba (Lisa); sister, Linda Lisenba East; grandchildren: Gwynn and Daniel Walker, Desirae Arrington (Andrew), Mylea Errera, Julie Bauer (Stefan), James Spencer (Amanda), Jordan West (Sarah), Jaclyn and Nathan West, Alexa Lisenba, Reagan and Maddie Lisenba; great-grandchildren: Rylan Errera, Melina Bauer and sister arriving 2021, Savannah Spencer, and Elliot West arriving 2021.
The funeral be held in Chattanooga at a later date to be announced. Entombment will be held at Forrest Cemetery in Gadsden, Ala., at a later date to be announced.
