Ronnie David Goodner, 69, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021, at the family residence.
He was born on April 27, 1952, in Cleveland, to the late Edith Goodner. Ronnie was also preceded in death by his brothers: Frank, Curtis, Benny, Tommy and Jimmy Goodner; and his sister, Mary Hope.
Ronnie loved Chevrolets, motorcycles and to travel. However more than anything he loved his family and spending time with his grandsons.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Juanita Goodner; daughter, Regina Watkins; and grandsons: Andy, Joe and Nathan Watkins; sisters: Wilma Martin Caylor and Ruby Defriese; brother, Johnny Goodner; as well as nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A Remembrance of Life service was held at 1 p.m. on Thursday June 3, 2021, at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services, Wildwood Avenue Chapel, with Pastor Johnny Smith officiating.
The interment followed at Tasso United Methodist Church Cemetery with Ike Hamilton, Arvel Rymer, Jason Wilson, Mike Geren, Windell Defriese and Clyde Cross serving as casket bearers.
