Roy “Rip” French Day IV, 51, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2022, in Chattanooga.
He was born on Sept. 13, 1970, to the late Roy “Sonny” F. Day III and Sally Day, in Cleveland.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his paternal grandparents, Roy F. Day Jr. and Edna Mayhew Day; and brother, Tracey Lee Day, all of Cleveland.
He is survived by his sister, Kelly (Mitchell) Day-Cross, of Soddy-Daisy; nephew, Justin Campbell, of Riceville; niece, Cassie Campbell, of Benton; great-niece, Gracy Anne Campbell; great-nephew, Ronin Hickman; the one love of his life, Michelle “Shelly” Shreve-Day; and extended family, Charles and Martha Cross, Valerie Walker, Courtney Walker and Anthony Cross.
We wanted to say a special mention to the Rev. Dr. Roy and Kaye Cantrell, the Rev. Howie and Becky Cantrell, Karen Cantrell Marks and the Rev. Michael and Patsy Plumley.
Thank you for always being a part of our grandparents', parents' and our lives. For as long as we can remember, The Church of God of Prophecy was instrumental in our lives. We love you all.
