Scott Lee Williams, 68, of Cleveland, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021, in a local hospital.
Scott was born in Wichita, Kan. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Williams. He was a truck driver most of his life.
He was very musical and was awarded a scholarship to college for his tuba playing. He was also very good with the bass guitar. Scott played in many bands, including the "School Bus Band"!
Survivors include his partner in living, Rita Carter of Cleveland; Rita's daughter, Tia Hamby; Tia's daughters, who called Scott "Grandpa": Madesyn and Ryleigh Hamby, all of Cleveland; mother, Carol Williams of Cleveland; sisters: Jan McCarthan (Tom) of Washington, and Penny Casey (Ed) of South Carolina; three nieces; a nephew; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
There are no formal services now for the family.
