Shellry Smith

Shellry Smith, 59, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023.

She was born on May 30, 1963, to the late Shelby Langford and Nancy Bayless. Shellry was an extremely hardworking woman who always provided for her family. She had a generous spirit and enjoyed helping others. Shellry also enjoyed crafting. Above all things, she loved her grandchildren and spending time with them.

In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Lionel Langford.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sons, Quantal Langford (Heather) and Dominique Craigmiles (Larielle); grandchildren, Isaiah Craigmiles, Carmen Craigmiles, Zion Craigmiles, Ish Sanders and Tremayne Scott; great-grandchildren, Nariyah, Amari, Jakahree and Uriah; siblings, Shelby Love, Stephanie Drake, Lavoris Coure, Shelton Langford (Sharron), Sheba Anderson (Shawnie), Ursula Langford (Tyson Bowerman) and Howard Langford (Nicole); sister-in-law, Lynn Langford; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.

Her family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at Companion Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 4 p.m.
