Tamila Dashcheva

Tamila Dashcheva, 86, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023, in a Winchester hospital.

She was born in Ukraine, and she was the daughter of the late Ksenia Vavilovna Volobueva Chyorniy and Abraham Chyorniy. She loved children, and she served as a kindergarten assistant for many years. She loved to read, music and was known for her servant’s heart. She loved helping people. She was a devout Christian and loved to pray. She was a member of the Ukrainian Church of Evangelical Faith in Cleveland.

Survivors include her daughters, Tatyana Shevchenko of Ukraine, and Olga Kondor (Nikolay) of Cleveland; grandchildren, Alexander Shevchenko of Ukraine, Artem Kondor (Svetlana) of Cleveland, and Tatyana Kresan (Igor) of Cleveland; great-grandchildren, Daniel Kondor, Leia Kondor and Matthew Kondor; and sister, Olla Dragich of Ukraine.

The Remembrance of Life service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2023, at the Ukrainian Church of Evangelical Faith with Pastor Aleksey Melnikov officiating.

Interment will follow in the Lee Cemetery.

The Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services, North Ocoee Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
