William Elbert ‘Pete’ Grady

William Elbert “Pete” Grady, 73, of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2023.

He was born on Feb. 12, 1949, to the late Mitchell and Beatrice Grady.

William loved hunting and fishing, and watching University of Tennessee Athletics sports.

In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by siblings, Wilma Grady, Carolyn Grady, Judy Grady, Linda Morrison, Allan Grady, David Grady and Sammy Grady.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children, Terri Bryant (Kenny), William B Grady and Robert Mitchell Grady; sister, Jerry McCurry; brother, Danny Grady; grandchildren, Taylor Bryant, Ashlynne Bryant, Abby Blankenship, Dylan Grady and Will Grady; great-grandchildren, Jaxon Bryant and Sawyer Bryant; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.

William’s family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023, at Companion Funeral Home, with a service to follow at 8 p.m.

He will be laid to rest at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Boanerges Baptist Church Cemetery.
